These photos were taken at Velha-a-Branca were my friends Armindo and Matheus were talking on the last Braga Geek Nights. All the talkings were very interesting. (Luis, I’m sorry about not having a photo of you too). Only the ones who were there will understand the title :p
The photos have a lot of noise because they were taken with around 0 lux. So I’m thankful to the Lightroom magics xD
fellings

The day after that big project, I’ve decided to disconnect from the world for 24 hours (read: no computer and not Internet). So, me and Henrique took the day to walk and take photos. In the end, we went to Velha-a-Branca to take a rest… but not from the photos! This one was on Tiago’s Feelings exhibition. I really recommend you to take a look there.
the lab’s guardian

Yesterday we (me and more 31 crazy ones) finished a huge project for the master degree. Being 16 hours per day at the university was almost like living there. The project was heavy, but a really nice experience :)
During the last hours everyone freaked out: emitting strange sounds and talking with inexistent nonsense words… Luckily, we find the department have a secret and invisible medieval guardian, called OrDoS, controlling the lab. Otherwise, it will could quickly turn on a battlefield. Despite having more than 800 years, his clothes are adapted to the modern times. Even being invisible, I could see him because I was using a special lens filter.
pizzicato

♪ Pizzicato - Léo Delibes (1836 - 1891)
The photo was taken at a fundraising concert “Juntos na Ajuda ao Haiti” (all together helping Haiti) organized by the musical school Companhia da Música, in the museum D. Diogo de Sousa, Braga. The money was sent today for Haiti =) The greatest thing on globalization are this kind of reactions. The whole world instantly united by a cause, helping people we don’t know, people who don’t know us, but who need us. Beautiful initiative.
anyone can play guitar

♫ “And if the world does turn, and if London burns
I’ll be standing on a beach with my guitar
I want to be in a band, when I get to heaven
Anyone can play guitar
And they won’t be a nothing anymore"

Unfortunately, the photo got a lot of noise. I had to be very fast to take this photo and the camera pre-configured to ISO 1600. But I love the silhouette.

henri cartier-bresson
Time for my masters. Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004) was a French photographer, widely known by his works as a photo-journalist. What I really appreciate on his photos are its precise and unique moment joined with his exceptional point of view and composition. I’ve selected my three favorites, each one by its different style. I’m starting a new set called masters.
stuck in a lift

Tonight Mario was inspired to take photos with my camera. Miriam was saying “oh, no… please. no more photos!” but Mário, as a nice guy, still took it! xD The result was this crazy and out of focus photo. But I like it. My comment was “look! Mário is skinny!” :p
